Women's Aid runs a number of training and support programmes aimed at the community and voluntary sectors. These programmes aim to:

• Raise awareness of the issue of violence against women
• Support communities to tackle the issue at a local level
• Share information about the issue, women's rights and options
• Promote good practice responses amongst workers and volunteers
